Advanced drilling rigs specifically designed for blast hole drilling and roof bolting in underground
mining and tunneling applications. Our products coveris wide range of applications from narrow &
low underground mining drifts up to large road construction tunnels.
Main characteristics :
- Boom. Equipped with one, two or three articulated booms hydraulically positioned to reach drilling
angles required. Accurate hydraulic parallel holding of the boom in all directions. They can be
customized to meet special applications.
- Feed beam. Heavy duty aluminum alloy feed beam with great bending and torsion resistance for
long service life. The beam surface covered by stainless steel wrapper and lined by synthetic wear
resistant pads between moving parts for longer service life.
- High frequency hydraulic drifter with slender impact piston and anti-jamming system, provides
high penetration rate and longer service life of drilling tools.
- Control System. Advanced control system allows precise operation and automation. Auto
collaring, percussion auto stop if lack of lubrication and water, auto controlled feeding by rotation
pressure and auto controlled percussion by feed pressure, and auto anti-jamming. Operator can
adjust drilling parameters such as rotation speed and feed pressure, and monitor the drilling
process in real-time. These systems enhance accuracy, reduce human error, and improve safety.
- Carrier. On wheels or crawler for stability and maneuverability in rugged underground
environments. Powered by diesel engines, electric motors, or a combination of both. Strong
articulated and heavy duty chassis with four wheel drive. Dual speed tramming, auto slowing down
and torque output increase to prevent engine from stopping if overloaded while climbing.
- Cabin. Provided either as elevating roof or alternatively air-conditioned cab meeting FOPS & ROPS
protection requirements.
- Dust Suppression: Effective dust suppression system with water mist maintaining air quality and
visibility in underground environment ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
